Refresh Server and Refresh Server+ with digital screen will become available nationally in March, 2017 with 12 ambient/chilled skus, including Minute Maid® Orange Juice, Tropical Punch, and Premium Lemonade, Minute Maid Orchard’s Best, Gold Peak® Tea, and vitaminwater®.
With the introduction of the Refresh Server beverage dispenser, The Coca-Cola Company is partnering with its customers to leverage the growth of dispensed beverages and increased still beverage sales, especially daypart opportunities.
Shift to Anytime Breakfast Trend
Consumers who are today between the ages of 19 and 35 view eating and snacking occasions much differently than their older counterparts. Over 56% of millennials eat breakfast items at a time other than morning; 30% replace one or two meals per day with a snack; and 18% eat during late night.¹ These shifting eating and drinking trends are driving significant changes in food service offerings. The dispensers’ 1-gallon packages are designed to produce a small amount of remnant, and there is limited maintenance required. The Refresh Server+ also provides the flexibility to deliver the beverages consumers want at the right time each day, with the ability to keep 1-gallon packages refrigerated once opened to use at another daypart.
